I want to have an impact on the world but more importantly I want to impact the lives of the people I encounter whether it be a pleasant memory or a deeper longer connection. How we interact with eachother is so important to our well being and how we operate in this world. I want to facilitate stronger sense of community on a local and global scale.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Using couchsurfing has providing me some lovely and great experiences. But my most cherished experience was my first and before I knew of couchsurfing, right out of high school I backpacked around Europe and my third day in London I met a family from Ghana and they invited me to stay with them; I stayed with them for about three weeks, slept in the same bed as their small children, ate West African food and learned a lot about a different and beautiful culture. Since then I've stayed with other families and have shared my apartment with a few people newly arrived and stranded in LA. All of my experiences have been positive and educational. I can't wait to experience more!

Interests

Family, food, cooking, people, traveling, adventures, yoga, environmental activism, supporting local artists and artisans, burlesque, laughing, and a good cup of tea in the morning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Explored under water cave system by candle light in Guatemala, exploring Hawaii, watched the sun rise over the Grand Canyon, and much more.
