I take various odd jobs in various places. Ultimately, I am trying to save up money to go to medical school.

PHILOSOPHY

My two main goals in life are: 1) to experience as much of the world as possible and 2) to make the world a better place for other people, especially those with health issues.

I'm new to couchsurfing, but I look forward to opening up my own couch when I get one!

Interests

I have BAs in Psychology and English from UC Berkeley and am currently studying to become a neurologist. So I am interested in those subjects, as well as things like board games, adorable animals, reading, exploring new places, meeting new people, and trying new foods.

Movies: Girl, Interrupted; 500 Days of Summer; A Serious Man; Synecdoche, New York; Monster; The Corporation; The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters

Music: I like almost anything.

Books: anything by Ishiguro, short stories by Joyce Carol Oates, and Agatha Christie novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky-diving, volcano surfing, and dog-sledding. A few more things, but nothing compared to what I am going to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about most any general education subject. I do a lot of tutoring, so I may be able to help any struggling students you know. I also can give good book recommendations!
