ABOUT ME

Im a friendly person once you get to know me. Some would even go so far as to say im funny, hilarious (if you will) and i wont try to deny it.
In seriousness tho, i really would love to meet up with some travelers coming through this lovely state.
Im in AZ after traveling for 5 months. I would say ive got the travel blues, wish i was still out there. But i ran out of money and had to come back home. Az was not my first choice, but its the only choice at the moment, and hey, you have to make the best of it.
Id also like to meet people that live in AZ and see what kinda stuff is going on, because honestly Im feeling the options are quite slim in this area. If Im wrong please feel free to let me know...and invite me out for some adventurin :) if you like

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I dont think i have really yet.
I couchsurfed while traveling in Peru, but i havent been able to host since ive been back.
Once i have a place with space, i'll be super happy to give my part.

For the moment i'll be having coffee and/or a drink to participate.
If youre lucky i'll reallllly participate and have 2 drinks with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic!
My friend and I stayed with Gonsalo in Lima. Him and his parents hosted us and gave us information about getting into the jungle....which we sort of didnt use. We kinda winged it, maybe thats how we ended up thigh deep in mudslides at 1 in the morning?
Then to Arequipa where we stayed with Yoga the tattoo artist in his squat. His place was amazing. we through water ballons at innocent bystanders during Carnival and sat on the rooftop reveling in the beauty of the Mt. Misti...oh and he tattoed my toes with diamontes!
Then back in Lima i stayed with Gustavo and his mother and sisters. Wow, it was a much different experience than the first time i was in lima. I got to see the hip, thriving music scene, party scene, had the best sushi everrrr, danced alot, sweated alottt (its lima, you'll sweat!) and last night there i didnt sleep, just danced, got home packed up, and took a taxi to meet my friend at the bus station with about 5 mins to spare. It was like being in a tornado ha

Movie: Almost Famous was the last great movie that i saw....i know i know, it was a long time coming. Afterwards i couldnt believe id never seen it. Amazing soundtrack

Books: recently...The sun also rises (hemingway is <3 ), Eat, Pray, Love (cliche prolly, but a really great book in its own right) Im almost done with Into the Wild (i dunno man.....i guess being someone who very much enjoys being in the presence of others and feeding off eachothers energies, i dont understand how someone would be most content if others were nowhere around him

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got stuck/lost in the jungles of Peru tramping through mudslides for hourssss, i thought i was going to die, really.
I was on the tippytop rock on the tippytop of Wayna Picchu, the mountain in the background of Machu Picchu.
I stayed on a beautiful plantation in the Zona Cafetera and slept outside everynight.
Went to the grand canyon for the second time, this time i'll remember its grandness
