CURRENT MISSION
Finding hope
ABOUT ME
I am kind, I am moved by beauty: the moon, stars, flowers, trees, lightning, poetry, harmonies, children, acts of tenderness and gentleness. I love music and when I am happy I love to sing. I am learning to listen better. I enjoy being outdoors and all activities involving physical coordination: bicycling, tossing frisbees and other flying objects, dancing, handstands, yoga, etc. I grew up playing soccer and video games. I enjoy cooking, reading, learning languages, playing guitar, memorizing poems, going for walks. I am searching for my way to help make it a better place. I want to live simply. I want to love well.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe we are created for intimate relationships with one another. I believe that we are part of a marvelous but tarnished world, made by a good and beautiful and mysterious creator who loves us more than we dare to imagine. I believe that my basic purpose in life is to listen to my heart and god (a loaded word for many), to do the things I know to be good and right, and to be courageous in following my dreams and taking risks. I believe we are made for infinite growth in love and creativity. "Eternity has been placed in our hearts".
I want to live my life unhurried, open to wonder and adoration of all that is beautiful and good in the world.
