ABOUT ME

We're a couple from Poland, both 27 years old and both eager to see as much as possible, experience as much as possible and meet as many people as possible on our way round the world!
It is such a fun couch surfing, we actually just started it! But it gives an entirely different perspective of travelling. It is like a constant game of trying to make your and others' lives a bit funnier, a bit better:)

We've always loved changing places a lot (on trips, scholarships, working) and loved to do it in the cheapest way possible. Still studying, both of us finished university in Warsaw, we would go on 2 months long holiday to Asia, North Africa, Middle East. When "the adult life" started nobody was eager to give us a 2 months long holiday any more, so we started putting some money aside for the biggest dream to come true. Having tied the knot, finally after 8 years of being together, in June 2010 we set off on the trip around the world. We started in Japan, heading to China and further down south to Malaysia and Indonesia, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, South America and then South Africa.
Apart from our zeal for travelling we should probably mention Paulina's love for languages, she finished 3 filologies: English, Spanish and French studies and is currently doing her Phd at the University of Warsaw (with a one-year break), talking (any language will do, as it is all about gossiping, chatting, exchanging life experiences) and cinema (subject of her studies and work for the last 4 years- she worked for the Cinema Art Foundation organizing independent cinema festivals back in Warsaw), Tomek's love of scuba-diving and great skillfulness when dealing with any IT- related issues. He used to work as a SAP specialist at the Polish Public Television.

Yeah but we gave it all up, and right now it just all about travelling and maybe meeting you guys:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By making the donation, keeping in touch with some travellers and unfortuantely so far that's been pretty much it. We heard lots of great stories about CS and decided to set up account as well. Soon we left Poland on the trip we'd been planning for a couple of year by then. But we will be able to host people and share our experience once we're back, we also hope for some friendly souls to host us some time in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Generally when travelling every once in a while you feel amazed at the landscapes you see, things you get to do and people you meet. I guess we do have a nice bunch of interesting stories to share.

Teach, Learn, Share

Paulina is ready and open to teach some English, French and Spanish or whatever you might need that could come in handy. Plus we have got loads of nice stories to share, all to do with our travelling! If you are planning any such a trip, just feel free to ask us about anything you might need. That is so nice about travelling, you actually keep on learning a lot!
