ABOUT ME

Hi,everyone. I am Echo from chinese Mainland. After graduating from university 2 years ago, I worked in Local Newspaper for 2 year as an Journalist, Then i worked as an Aupair in Switzerland for one year. Why? Cause i take it as my late "Gap Year" so that i can learn a new lanugage and culture. I have experienced really a lot during the Aupair-Period, such as making new friends, aquisition of a new language and got enrolled in UZH.. Nowadays i am working on my masters study in University of Zurich.

I was a journalist in China, but I was tired of vegetation and repeated life: wake up, have breakfast, working, off-duty, eating again, sleeping..I think I am young enough to see the world and of course learn a new language. So I quitted my job and here I am. From couchsurfing I have found some wonderful and lovely friends, I think for me, this is a good way to acquaint new people who have the same interests and willing to help and be helped to learn new language

What kind of person I am?

First of all, I am a nature-lover which means I like outdoor sports(hiking,badminton,volleyball, swimming, etc), even though I have to admit that I am not really good at some of them. but I like this kind of feeling of breathing in wood, near lake¦From this angle, I chose the right country.

Secondly, as Jason Marz(one of my favorite singer) sings in his song: “when I feel good I sing... when I feel good I always hum a song to myself, I do not need audience, just looking for or create some joy of my own. I like Pop Jazz, Acoustic, Indie Rock, Blue, R&B, even country music, but forgive me, I am truly not a fan of electronic music, ’heavy metal and punk, cause they are extremely loud to me.(That is the reason why I prefer Cafè than Bar, and to be honestly I hate noisy night clubs..)

I like reading...paper book, I like the scent and beautifully designed cover of books. Oh, sometimes when I immerse myself in reading, I feel like I am in a magic world of Harry Potter. Maybe because of reading so much strange books, I always have a lot of strange thought in mind, I cannot stop thinking, like the power of nature, love, relationship, meaning of life.ok, u have every right to think I am crazy or...insane... but I hate the word Insane. I am me, a real Echo!

What makes me feel so good:blue sky, clear river,nice music,sunshine,hang out with friends,pet a fluffy cute animal,travalling,eating really taste food, find a fancy shop or place,reading my favorite book

I am easy-going,open-minded and very positive. i believe in the existence of Love. I am a crazy fan of travelling who also interested in sports,music,reading,making friends and culture exchange. Actually, i am a contradictory born-dreamer. All beautiful things in the world could touch my heart and bring tears to my eyes:)
