ABOUT ME

Write what defines me as a person in a few sentences? Tall order....well I'd say I'm an easy-going, intelligent, decent guy who likes to laugh and have a good time and is curious about the world.

Books:
1984 - when I read the ending the first time, I just stared at a wall for a minute, mortified. Still the most horrifying piece of fiction or nonfiction I have ever read...in a good way.

The Name of the Rose - great medieval atmosphere, history told in an exciting way and an intriguing plot...love it.

also Lord of the Rings, the robot trilogy by Isaac Asimov, Terry Pratchett (especially the Watch), The Road by Cormac McCarthy (makes me want to improve my english so that I can understand more of the incredibly beautiful language) and many, many more

American Beauty, Memento (Nolan's other films are also great), Fight Club, L.A. Confidential, The Big Lebowski (it gets better every time I watch it), Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Lord of War
