ABOUT ME

I'm a laid-back girl with a passion for many kinds of music, travel, dance, languages, and interesting foods. I would like to work in social justice or economic development in Costa Rica or a neighboring Central American country. For now I am doing a "gap year" after graduating college- I lived for 5 months first in Italy, working as an au pair and English tutor, and now I'm traveling for 2 months with a friend around Europe, before returning to the States to continue along the career path. So far my time in Europe has been wonderful- every day there's something new to experience or see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm rather new to this, and was hosted as a couchsurfer once in Heidelberg, Germany. It was a great experience staying with a local in Heidelberg because, over a good dinner of pasta or a breakfast served with tea, my friend and I were able to share stories about our lives at home with our host, and she was able to share some interesting things about Germany with us.

Interests

Interests range from dance, music, reading, going out for a good meal, watching movies, traveling, learning foreign languages, and cooking (which I am always looking to improve upon).
