ABOUT ME
currently working in Mount Cook area and loving it.

born and raised in Germany but left for the UK at the age of 19. Spent an amazing 9yrs in (on and off- 3escapes to India and a break in germany) in bristol establishing the best friendships one can wish for and meeting people from all over the world(some lovely folk i am now able to visit in Oz) . I did a useless (job wise) Ba(hons) enjoying photography and social documentary and had some pretty random jobs; until I found that I love yoga and want to teach that so i spent the last year/two doing a bit of that and working with a bunch of eclectic folk at a massage therapy/spa centre in bristol. It all got quite comfortable and lovely so i decided to leave. obviously. ;-) The main incentive was to escape the winter and explore the lush tropics in far north queensland via Thailand.
I have now been to Darwin, middle of nowhere/NT, North QLD, some Victoria (fruit picking adventures and staying with a friend in Melbourne) and eventually got stuck on the sunshine Coast and it's hinterland...

it's been two years ...(i constantly update this) of wonderful and horrid experiences. I met beautiful people and found another home in the Mareeba area. Then ventured to bali for a helpX stint learning about natural farming from a Bali-Japanese duo.

hosted only once in the UK as often I'd live with flat mates not too keen on the idea of CS. hope to meet some great people on my way around Australia and eventually be able to host again too!
