About Me

Try to know the thruth behind geography books

Knowing the world, planiting a garden and living quietly, sometimes that seems a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, so I'm embarqued myself in this adventure across south america, and after 8 months of traveling I returned to Montevideo. I knew some great people, had some crazy experiences and learnt things about myself that can only be learnt in this kind of experiences. Now I know, as I always knew, that traveling is a part of me, and I'm just waiting for another adventure. In the meanwhile, I plan to repay some of the great Karma that was given to me, trying to show other travelers my little country, and make them feel welcomed.

Outside travelling?? Hmmm, bad books, bad movies and bad music. Few but very good friends. Ahhh, and cooking! Might be my work bu I still love it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now reading Hermann Hesse and Yasunari Kawabata. Favourite are Julio Cortazar, some Conrad's and Sci fi classics (please no Isaac Asimov) Dune was very cool, but Ray Bradubury, Aldoux Huxley and Urusa K. Leguin are my favourites.

Music: Indie and soul are what I'm listening right now, REM, Coldplay and Radiohead are always on my MP3, in spanish Sabina, of course. Simon and Garfunkel marked my way of thinking in many ways. Though I really listen EVERYTHING.

Movies: comercial and indepandant,I have seen many of both. Shawshank Redemption marked what I am, and for sure I wouldn't be in CS if I hadn't seen Into the Wild. Amelie, American beauty, the Eel, all were great.
