One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to San Diego Cali on a whim. I didn't know anyone, I just bought a ticket and took off; Leaving behind, my job and apartment. I was busking on the street for awhile everyday to raise money to stay in a hostile there when I met a guy named Danny who offered me a place to stay with his (now our) friend Soma in La Jolla. There we stayed while I worked in Ocean Beach for Pride Industries under the table loading ships with crates and crates of food for sailors. To make a long story short we had the most wonderful time together until sadly, Soma had to return back to India where she is from, leaving me and Danny to seek other living arrangements. We parted ways as I was getting homesick and Danny felt the need to fly solo. I was chillin', pickin' away at my 6 string in a Mickey D's parking lot when outta left field came two of the most wonderful people I have ever met, who had bought over 100 double cheeseburgers and were proceeding to hand them out to the poor and hungry. I thought that was fantastic and so I offered to help them and I did. We drove around putting smiles on many faces until we were out of supplies. Later I explained my situation to them and they warmly (as though they were angels) offered to buy my ticket back to Michigan without hesitation. I was jaw-dropped and so very thankful. On our way to the greyhound station I started to tell them about the book I was reading, The Secret by Rhonda Burne, and as it turned out...The woman of the two (The wife) says that one of her uncles, a Mr. John Cantrell is one of the Co-authors of the book! What are the odds! And if you haven't read the book, than I must tell you that it is all about the power of attraction...Manifesting things with your thoughts and feelings. And that is exactly what I did! I was thinking about home and all it's friends and family and without a penny to my name and miles away, that's exactly what I got. Serendipity baby! Now that is not all, I'm not done. So I get back home to MI and go to one of the local shelters in Lansing and I'm there a couple days when suddenly a stranger asks me for a smoke. I turned and looked at him and OMG he looked just like Danny!!! He spoke some more he SOUNDED just like Danny!!! So I says to him, "Hey man, you look awfully familiar, you got any family in California?"..."Only my son", he says, "but I haven't talked to him in nearly 10 years"..."What's his name?", I asked him, sweating anticipation. He looks up and, looking and sounding just like a 15 year later version of Danny says, "Daniel Sawaya"!!! What!? NO WAY! The chances of that happening are about equal to the chances of winning the million dollar lottery if not less! Now I new Danny's last name to be Hylander (like Quentin McCloud) and so I told him and he said that was his wife's last name! Really?! So naturally I figured I was meant to act as some sort of mediator and get these two (father and son) connected again but sadly It has been years now and I have failed in all my attempts to contact Danny in any way; But please (to end this on a positive note), let this story be of some inspiration to you. Anything is possible...ANYTHING! Life is AMAZING in every nook and cranny. Look for the Light! Seek and you shall find! Ask and you shall receive!
