ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of the hippie type but I've been yuppified over the years. I raised some amazing kids. I play guitar and sing and spend alot of time at a sewing machine. My background is in teaching gymnastics. Currently I'm working with special needs children in high school. I love to be in the woods. I love to be around good people (so I married Doug). I'm loyal to friends and family.

PHILOSOPHY

We're here to learn something. I hope I'm not too stubborn and thick headed to get it before it's too late. I sure hope I can clear the path for someone else on their quest along the way.

I think we all want to travel and explore but the purse isn't always deep. We have to be able to help each other in this endeavor by freeing up the lodging expenses of travel, thus making it an attainable goal in this short , lovely life we live. It's a beautiful planet to explore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in the Florida Keys, Paris,France and Hot Springs, Arkansas. Loved the hosts.

Interessen

playing guitar, making furniture with the hubby, camping, canoeing, hiking, dancing, quilting, traveling, eating Doug's great cooking, working really hard, boating on the Bay and being with my kids, family and friends.

I love to read and listen to music. I listen to CSN, Gillian Welch, Joni Mitchell, Colby Callait,and any great folk singers, and the 5 great bands of the past..Ohio Players, Wild Cherry, KC and the Sunshine Band, Earth Wind and Fire, and Average White Band.
