ABOUT ME

I'm stuck in Minnesota, so I travel as much as possible to warm up, surf, and not go nuts due to serious cabin fever. I've been stuck in Minnesota my whole life, but have been fortunate enough to do some serious road traveling. I work pretty hard but try and play harder.

PHILOSOPHY

Just looking to explore everything the world has to offer. People, places, ideas. There's always something to learn. Catch as many different waves as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although CouchSurfing is a (relatively) new site, I've been couch surfing for years. Between that and my old 4-runner it's how I spent most of my college. The people I've met and the knowledge I've gained has been fantastic over the years.

You name it, I've probably done it or am willing to try. I'm extremely passionate about surfing (not couch surfing, but paddle into a wave, pop up, and you get the idea), and photography. I snowboard, wakeboard and waterski, hunt/fish, have skydived over 25 times, road raced motorcycles (crashing more than I'd like to admit), all sorts of stuff.

Books: Right now reading about six different books about customer experience.

Did a really fun four day road trip, where I spent New Year's at Niagara Falls, had buffalo wings at the home of buffalo wings in Buffalo, NY, and then surfed on Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and Lake Huron. 2,566 miles, roughly 40 hours in the car.

What do you want to learn? I'd like to get better at playing guitar, sewing, and listening. I can teach you how to do surfboard repair, fix motorcycles, and snowboard. I can also teach you how to make a kick ass snowman.
