ABOUT ME

Español:

Me encanta viajar y no puedo pensar en otra manera mejor para conocer el mundo. Me encanta leer novelas históricas sobre otros paises y culturas (mi género literario favorito). Sin embargo viajar me brinda la oportunidad de aprender directamente sobre las personas de otros paises al igual que aprender de ellos y sobre mi misma. Soy una persona tranquila y respetuosa pero sí­ me encanta fiestar, janguear (como decimos en Puerto Rico) con amistades, moverme por la naturaleza y por ciudades divertidas, bailar, bailar y bailar, etc.

English:

I love traveling and can't think of a better way of learning about the world. I do enjoy reading historic novels about other countries and cultures (my favorite type of books). However traveling gives me the opportunity to learn about people in other places and learn from them and myself at the same time. I am a quiet and respectful person. However, I do like to party, hang out with friends, move around nature and fun cities, dance, dance, and dance, etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Español:

Mi esposo y yo hemos hospedado a varias personas y también hemos sido huéspedes dentro y fuerea de Couchsuring.

English:

My husband and I have hosted many people and we have also surfed some couches through Couchsurfing and randomly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Español:

Tuve buenas experiencias como anfitriona en Arizona y en Oregon. Comencé a hospedar gracias a mi amiga Sarah al hospedar una pareja el mismo día que me muda a vivir en su casa. Todas mis experiencias como anfitriona y visita han sido buenas. Incluso una pareja que nos hospedó en Buenos Aires en febrero de 2011 se quedó con nosotros en Julio de 2013 en nuestra casa en Portland.
English:

I've had all good experiences hosting in Arizona and in Oregon. I joined couchsurfing when my ex-roommate (Sarah, see on my friends list) hosted a couple right as I moved in with her. That experience made me want to be a couchsurfer host too. I have also surfed some couches and in July 2013 hosted a couple who hosted us in Buenos Aires back in February 2011. It was great to see them again and return the favor. :-)

Mis dos pasiones son la capoeira y bailar. Pero tengo muchos intereses que me hacen muy feliz también como hacer trekking, viajar, correr bicicleta y hacer viajes en bicicleta, ver pelis, leer, comer chocolate, salir con amistades, tener buenas cenas, coser, crear, jardinería, etc.

Español:

Me gustan mucho las pelis pero prefiero las extranjeras e/o independientes. Disfruto de muchos tipos de música pero la música latina es la que me hace mover el esqueleto, en especial la salsa, cha cha, cumbia, samba y rock en español. Para leer prefiero novelas basadas en hechos históricos y autobiografias de personas que me inspiren. Por ejemplo, mi libro favorito es de Gioconda Belli y se llama El paí­s bajo mi piel.

English:

Foreign and independent films, many types of music (especially latin music), history and fiction novels and autobiographies of awesome people. My favorite book is El paí­s bajo mi piel by Gioconda Belli (The Country Under My Skin).
