ABOUT ME

Me and dan have known each other for 15 years! We are laid back, energetic and fun to be around....i think?!

We enjoy other peoples company a lot, we like sharing stories and adventures with people and we also like to partake in the occasional debate or two.

Dan has just qualified as a secondary school teacher and teaches English, Drama and a bit of computing.

PHILOSOPHY

why are we here? well if we start that conversation now, we will be talking for hours!

Dan thinks that through traveling he will find self discovery and hopes to push himself to the limit to help him with those unanswered questions.

However for me, im just there for the adventure im not looking to find or lose myself, only to enjoy life. Uncomplicated and easy...thats me all over :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been told all our lives not to speak to strangers....but frankly we think thats boring, so we want to find out about people! We are interested in people and we enjoy their company, everybody is different and that needs to be celebrated not shunned.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have surfed on a few couches in Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Singapore. All have been amazing experiences. We have made some great friends through CS and are hoping to make many more :)

We have hosted many people since being home from our travels, we even had one couple come back to us and join us for a road trip up to Scotland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dan - The best thing I have done definately has to be taking part in a skydive for cancer research (and recently over the Fox Glaciers in NZ). Experiencing the closest thing to death but also feeling completely free was a once in a lifetie moment.

Fay - I once saw a hedghog running past my door at home...that was pritty amazing, but ive done a lot of amazing things in my past time, a lot more than other teenagers dream of, but if i told you then I wouldnt have anything to talk to you about when I meet you now, would I? :)

Teach, Learn, Share

We have much to give..... warmth, ears to listen and also we have skills...

Me and Dan can both teach the way of drama, we thesbians love a bit of show and tell!

Myself and our housemates are Harry Potter experts, so if you are here for the tour then we can have lots of HP chats!

Being so close to London we also know some good spots to hit, and if we have the time we can take you into London also :)
