In my opinion, it is always quite difficult to write something about myself, but I will give it a try.

My Name is Alex, I'm 23 years old and I grew up at a small town close to Cologne. Therefore I'm a open-minded person because Cologne gives you more than just one chance to meet intersting people and alternative ways of live.

I love playing and watching Basketball, espacially the NBA, going out with friends and having a few (or more ;)) drinks, talking about politics and whats going on all around the world and of course meeting new people.

Actually, my first trip through England awakened my passion for travelling and this was the beginning of a long list full of storys about traveling through Scotland, England, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands ect. But a special iterest still is located in Ireland and probably will only end after I am dead =P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I worked a couple of times in Backbacker Hostels for meeting new people and staying for free and I still love the way traveling like that, but for me Courchsurving could be another great way of traveling and meeting new people because the people at their different places can show you the best places to go and it could be very cool, as well. Of course I will invite people to my place, too for showing them the city and way of mastering the live here. Making friends all around the globe sounds like a plan it is worth to follow =)

I think there are quite a few, but what came in my mind at first was taking a shower in a f****** big and cold waterfall in the Scottish Highlands.

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course I can teach you German because I'm studying English and Social Science to become a teacher and therefore I had to do a few courses for preparing some students for the German Language (If they are not fluently).

I'm learning Spanish at the moment and therefore I would love to if someone can give me some more practise in using that language, but I only can the basics at the moment, so only communitication in Spanish could be a bit difficult. But of course that is not a condition.

What I Can Share with Hosts
