Overview
About Me
Carpe diem! In my life no day is the same; most probably because I am a "secretly" addicted all-rounder.
I was born in Afghanistan and as a little kid I continuously challenged myself to get the most out of life. I didn’t have much so at early age I knew that I had to buckle down in order to achieve my aspirations. Hence, I learned to consider each day as a new opportunity to realize my dreams. By having big dreams and working hard I have achieved many goals business wise as well as in my personal life. Equipped with many experiences in life, I can honestly say that I can describe myself as a fortunate person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Growing up in two worlds (Europe and the Middle East) I was always aware of the differences between them, but also conscious of the overlapping parts between these two worlds. Those differences and common aspects have fascinated me and enabled me to observe the beauty among individuals. It is those differences that makes everyone unique, but on the other hand it is those similarities that makes someone relatable. Fortunately I was able to thick many boxes with regards to countries I wanted to visit and therefore capable to explore these two sides of people. Yet, I think my journey will never end and I feel a personal urge from the inside that forces me to embark on a new journey. A journey that will lead in exploring new countries, cultures and cuisines, but also meeting inspirational people who hopefully will lead to establishing new friendships.
Interests
I think it is no secret that I am passionate in exploring the world and meeting new people. My other interests are learning languages, tasting new cuisines and sports. What kind of sports, recently challenged myself in the boxing rings by practicing kickboxing. Furthermore, I love to have a ride on my motorcycle or in a fast-and-the-furious type of car.

Music, Movies, and Books
This box is very hard to fill in. My interest with regards to music is very broad. For instance I enjoy listening to songs of John Legend, but also I can’t keep still when I hear some Latin beats. On the other hand I definitely don’t mind listening the upbeat songs of David Guetta or Afro Jack. I don’t only have a broad interest in music, but also in movies. I can lose myself in a good action movie, but also in a romantic and comic Bollywood movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is hard to pick because every experience has its own beauty and uniqueness. So I feel forced to say that the most amazing thing I have done is taking the time to explore the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe the word teach is a bit weird because who am I to teach others. What I can do is definitely share my many stories, for example: my journey from Afghanistan to the Netherlands or my visits to several countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. So a good conversation filled with anecdotes and experiences without any doubts can be shared. Moreover, I would like to hand you over personally a postcard of the city I live in and tell you my experiences in this city.
The things I would like to learn are very simple: you and your city. I honestly love to hear about your experiences and about for example about your customs. As I said, the differences as well as the similarities between persons fascinate me. Besides, I would really appreciate if you would like to guide me a bit. So feel free to join me or simply inform me about the ins and outs in your city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It will be an honor to cook something for you or to take you out for dinner. In addition I really don’t mind to help with for example cleaning the dishes after eating. Moreover, it would be my pleasure to bring you something from my home country.
