Overview
About Me
22 years old travel addict, and a total foody, in love with nature, especially mountains (+3yrs of rock climbing Mont Blanc expetition) as well as in technology (designing mobile apps for a living, startup founder wannabe). Crazy about Asia and its cusine.
Graduated from my Bachelor last year, have been working in IT (digital design) for a year now. Having saved enough money now, together with ma boy I've set out for another journey to Asia, biking this time!
With this current trip I aim to reflect on my life and my way to follow for next years.
Besides, as always, my travel is about authenticity, understanding and experiencing - people, food, nature and other cultures. A person is a sum of stories - own and those learnt from others - I believe. That is why I prefer to hitchhike and slowly move through countries and couch surf. A checklist of landmarks to fly over to for a weekend and just make a selfie with, that's not my travelling style.
in the future I hope to make a world a better place by setting up a tech startup. ... Or if that doesn't work out I'll hide in Himalayas trekking, meditating and doing yoga for the rest of my life (; .
Dream day: sharing a feast and stories in China with local friends met while hitchhiking, or an evening with friends by the bonfire ended in a cozy hammock in the woods.
(From autopsy).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS next to hitchhiking is best way to meet local people or fellow travellers, allowing to exchange stories experiences and laughter that makes the journeys.
Travelling is about the people in my opinion, so the choice is simple.
Interests
Rock climbing for ca. 3 years now, I also to some hiking.
Occasionally I do yoga and meditation.
I've been programming for my Bachelor, now designing interfaces for a living.
I love to read good reportages or hang out in the nature for a chill.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: almost anything apart from action movies and romantic comedies. (Seven, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Dzień Świra). Friends and Netflix shows will do as well (Chef's Table(!), The end of Fucking World, Atypical, Grace and Frankie).
Books: Mostly polish writers and poets, sorry (Kapuściński(!) Hłasko, Bursa, Pilch, Mrożek, Masłowska, Lem, Słonimski, Barańczak). I love quality reportage books.
Music: Various stuff, recently mostly indie rock. (The Dumplings, Podsiadło, Organek, Baas Astral, Daria Zawiałow).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking from Poland to Hong Kong with 400 Euro in my pocket.
Or maybe moving out to Singapore for studies?
