I am a people person and love to be surrounded by the positive and upbeat. I enjoy finding balance in life; laying back on the beach or gearing up for a hike or climb. I love my job and work hard, but everyone needs some down time to recharge. When I am not working I love to indulge my hobbies by taking a scenic flight up the coast, sailing, surfing or simply enjoying the world around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I arrived on this sight after doing some research as I prepare for a few years of traveling on my off time. I have had such great opinions of the world without ever taking time to walk it myself. Hopefully if this website works as it says I will have the opportunity to meet some great people while seeing the world through the eyes of those who live the local life every day.

A friendly, respective stay. I love to share experiences as well as learn from those I meet. I require no special treatment and request none. Living in Alaska and San Diego you come to learn how to make yourself useful to others which is one of my favorite things.
