Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm an Erasmus from South Korea, currently studying in Paris. I'm planning a 2-week trip to East Europe and countries in Balkan penninsula, and hoping that CS could help me meet new people and get to understand the countries better. Right now I'm planning a quite tight trip, so rather than partying all night, I'd prefer a nice chitchat during dinner and an early start the day after!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's my first time trying out CS, and for me, it's really a way to make the trip more comprehensive and enjoyable! Since I'm really interested in historical/cultural aspects of countries I'm visiting, I'm looking for something more than sightseeing, I'm looking for chances to interact with people living there. And I'd like to share stories about Korea/Asia to those who are interested in them!!:)
Interests
I like experiencing new things- whether it's visiting new countries, making new friends, trying out sports activities I haven't done before or simply having a chitchat with others and getting to know about their interests! I also enjoy taking selfies with newly met friends, so that we can have something solid to cherish each other afterwards:) So I usually bring a small digital gadget that enables me to instantly print out pictures from cellphone.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not that girlish in person, but still love romance-comedies. When I was younger I used to be a huge fan of Princess Diary:P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Umm.. it might be really trivial, but when I went to Belgium(I went there by Megabus from Paris) we were supposed to arrive there around 6 in the morning but instead we arrived so early, and I got 'dumped' in the middle of the square at 3:40 in the morning. I had seriously no where to go(the train stations were closed, drunk people all over the street), it was freezing cold outside but then I managed to survive until my friend came from at 9.(She was coming from Germany) :P
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm ready to learn things - I guess that's really what trips are all about. Learning from new cultures, learning from new people, learning more about myself from looking at how I behave under unfamiliar circumstances.
I'm ready to share things!- I love chatting, and I would also think about ways to make CS experiences more special for both my host and me. CS's not a way of getting free accomodation, I'm taking it more serious than that, and looking forward to having wonderful experiences:)!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
* I would really appreciate if we could have a nice conversation over dinner. I can cook some Korean dishes (I brought some Korean food from home) if circumstances permit!
* A lot of stories about Korean/Asian culture/my trips..
