I have been around couchsurfing for a long time. Old and current roommates have had profiles and I have enjoyed having their guess over to the house. I have meet some wonderful people over the years and have never had a bad experience.

Well it was about time I got on this thing. Also my boyfriend and I are going on a trip to Hawaii (where I am originally from) and our original host is not able to host us anymore, so we thought we would give couch surfing a try.
