I've always had a keen sense of adventure. Travelling is one of my favourite past-times, and I enjoy learning about different people, cultures and places, thus, moving to Japan has exposed me to some incredible opportunities.

I have a range of passions, and as such find myself dividing my free time among them. Prior to living in Japan I worked as a Digital Designer, designing iPhone apps, websites and adverts as well as a writer for a leading UK music website.

While I'm not sure about the next step after teaching here, which will hopefully be working for a record label or music publication I try to build myself up daily, in the form of studying Japanese, writing articles, creating DJ mixes and more.

I've only couch-surfed with friends and friends of theirs previously, but after hearing so many good things from friends that couch-surf often I would love to try it out.

As I enjoy talking to people and sharing experiences, I feel like couch-surfing will give me the chance to encounter numerous people with unique opinions and views.

In terms of music I appreciate all genres but I have a deep love for Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz and Future music. Artists that I like include Nas, Flume, Flying Lotus and a bunch of underground acts that I've discovered through SoundCloud.

Some of my favourite films include The Dark Knight, Guardians of the Galaxy, Kung Pow: Enter the Fist and Inception. I'm also a massive fan of TV shows, and my favourites range from dramas (True Detective, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, Game of Thrones) to anime (Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, Gurren Lagann).

The Catcher in the Rye is my favourite book, I've always enjoyed reading but never really made time for it, hopefully that'll change that in the future.

It's cliche by now, but seeing the sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji is one of my favourite that I've ever done. I was also in a Nintendo commercial that was shot in Prague once.
