About Me

I love to travel!!!

I enjoy foreign languages. Since the age of 13, I have studied Spanish, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Italian, and now Polish. Even though I have studied many languages, I am only able to hold a conversation in English and Spanish. I grew up in New York in the United States and my goal is to travel to as many countries and cities as possible.

I graduated from University with a degree in Spanish. While I was in school, I studied abroad in Spain. After I graduated, I went back to Spain to live for almost one year. Then, I returned to the United States and got a job working at an aviation academy in Florida. I lived in Florida for two years and now I've moved to Poland!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this would be a better way to meet people while traveling. I have been to many places, but rarely am I able to actually meet local people. I've realized that the thing I remember most about places I've visited are the people and their stories. I think couch surfing will be a good way to connect.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Book: Death by Black Hole

Favorite Music: I listen to all different types of music.

Favorite Movie: I have a problem watching movies. I try very hard, but without fail I fall asleep while watching all movies. Usually when people talk about movies I'm only able to recall parts of it! Hahaha!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped an elderly Polish lady cross a busy street.

Teach, Learn, Share

Even though I do not come a Hispanic background, I learned how to dance merengue and bachata. I learned a little bit of salsa but I really only know the basics.

Also, while living in Spain I learned to cook tortilla española, patatas bravas, and really good bocadillos. If I can find the ingredients in your country, I would be happy to share these recipes with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation! I love sharing stories and listening to stories from other people. I really enjoy learning from people that come from all different backgrounds. I want to know your traditions, music, food, history, and way of life.
