And Couchsurfing is a great and easy way to do that.

Local food is an awesome paradise that I always want to try.
Do some thrilling activities such as Sky diving, Bungee jumping, Volcano Sightseeing, etc.
Ready to help with cooking, cleaning or other stuff if the host invite to join.
