Overview
About Me
I am in a transitional phase in my life at the moment. I am exploring life, exploring the world, and trying to piece together who I am through it all. I studied Communications at UC Berkeley but now work as a pastry chef for a catering company (Life happens!). I eventually plan to open up my own place. It something quite personal to me so I don't want to say much about it here. I like to have a laugh in between all this seriousness haha. I promise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be completely honest, I'm not a great planner and am in a bit of a pinch for my upcoming trip. This is extremely out of my comfort zone as I am an introverted lady. And yet, I place my trust in you, in this community, to potentially take in a probably weary, but excited wanderer :)
Interests
I have three main passions in life: travel, music, and milk tea. Outside of this, I enjoy going on walks, morning bike rides, reading, meditation, being by the water, camping, train travel, film photography, going to the movies by myself, going to the grocery store/farmers' market, long dinners, listening to my parents tell childhood stories

Live My Truth
In January 2014, I backpacked through India (mostly Rajasthan) by myself. I got lost, found my way, laughed, mostly cried, experienced real joy for the first time in a long time, fell in love with a country, a culture, its people, and slowly began to accept and love myself. It changed my life really.
Teach, Learn, Share
In exchange for learning about your culture and way of life, I make a mean chocolate cake.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experience as an Asian American woman living in the San Francisco/Bay Area and working in a fast-paced, demanding, male dominated field while trying to have some normal semblance of a social life.
