We are Christian & Taylor!

We are so excited to have the opportunity to take the time to get out and explore our world! The only thing on our agenda is traveling and meeting people who share in our joy of getting to know one another.

We were caught up in the corporate world (not that there is anything wrong with that) and figured, "what better time to take an adventure"! We are newlyweds who intend on waiting a few years to have kids (although we love them) and thought that we would go ahead and quench our wanderlust before time decided to catch up.

We love to cook and are very interested in learning about foods from here and there! We consider ourselves moderately healthy and love to try new things. We also love coffee and winding down with a glass of wine.

We are taking this time to simplify our life and enjoy the things we have that no one can take away from us. Our time, our freedom, our faith and our love of people.

It is a wonderful way to meet people and really dive into a culture without getting treated like a tourist. There is nothing quite like quality time to dive into another person's life and understand where they come from.

We are hoping to be hosts once we return from our travels so that others may have the opportunities that we have been blessed with.

Exploring new places (obviously), meeting new people (obviously...), cooking, watching movies, listening to music, going to concerts, watching/playing sports, animals, dabbling with different instruments, Canasta, coffee, wine, learning new things...and of course being awesome!

We love listening to all kinds of music and can't wait to learn more about music from around the world! We enjoy a wide range of movies, both foreign and domestic. Taylor enjoys reading books of all kinds and Christan enjoys articles on redditt and digg, but would read the newspaper if he had the chance.

Christian is a big fan of action films, especially those starring Keanu Reeves, but occasionally watches himself a chick-flick when Taylor is not around. His top five favorite movies (as of late) are Inception, Aliens, Warrior, Cool Hand Luke & Shawshank Redemption (in no particular order).

Taylor enjoys watching obscure artsy films, whatever Christian enjoys and also cheesy romantic comedies. Her top five (as of late) are The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Amelie, Just Friends, The Princess Bride & Remember the Titans (in no particular order). She really enjoys football (american) for some odd reason that she cannot explain. Maybe it is the camaraderie? Perhaps the excitement? The world may never know.

We are both fluent in English and would love to teach anyone. We are incredibly patient and willing to take the time.

We are not chefs, but we really enjoy cooking and would be honored to provide a meal for our hosts if the opportunity arises.

We are very interested in learning everything we can and are happy to adopt knowledge and experience that is offered to us!
