I'm a 21 year old Egyptian who is currently double majoring in Marketing and Egyptology at the American University in Cairo. One of my joys in life is to travel, exploring new cultures and meeting new people along the way. I believe that there's soo much out there in this world, beyond our personal beliefs, views, cultures and traditions, that need to be experienced firsthand.

Couchsurfing is an amazing platform for people who are into travelling with a twist. I mainly like to backpack my way when travelling, having a rough idea of what I want to do but going with the flow of each day. I like the idea that couchsurfing helps you meet up with locals from the country you're visiting and helps you see their country from their own eyes. It's a great opportunity for travelers to meet new people and learn from each other by sharing views, ideas, beliefs, experiences, and just having fun.

I have been studying a dead language for 2 and a half years. Currently, I can translate and transliterate ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics and Hieratic.

I can teach Arabic and share all I know about Cairo and Egypt. Since I'm an Egyptology major, I can help people with all that is Egyptology and take you around places like the Egyptian Museum, the pyramids, etc.
