I believe it is the best way to visit a city, I love to guide and be guided. Couchsurfing for me is the best way to learn the essential aspects of different cultures , especially because you meet lots of people as well.

Music: Radiohead, Eels, The National, Wilco, Sufjan Stevens, Bright Eyes,...
Movies: old Hitchcock movies, casino, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,... I am almost finished viewing the entire IMDB top 250 list, so I have spent my fair share of time on watching movies :).
Books: I don't really like to read books, although I did enjoy The Big Gatsby and 1984.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once was chased by something between 20 and 30 wild monkeys in a forest in Indonesia. I barely could escape, but managed to find my hotel and hide in there.
