About Me

Holaaaaa
After spending a long time in front of my computer thinking of what I could write here, I decided that it's actually kind of useless, isn't it? All of my interests, my passions, who I am, can't be written down and if you want to find out anything about me, don't doubt on reaching out! I'm a very open person, always happy to talk and to learn so if you're doubting on whether you should host me/stay with me just send me a message and I'll be very happy to answer whatever you want.
I'm not shy so you shouldn't be either!!!
I'll just say the basic: 19, mexican, always looking and wanting to find out more, know more, learn more, feel more, never tired of discovering music, places, traditions, food (FOOD!)... I can be a non-stop ball of energy for days or stay in a week and watch movies and eat (EAT) m sure that if you accept to meet me you will find a whole lot more of stuff about me and I hope I will know about you too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I can't think of a better place that mixes the things I love the most: traveling, meeting new people and saving money (I'm totally kidding with the last one).

I haven't had any hosting experience yet because I have the tiniest room ever, but I hope I'll be able to do it in the future :)
I've had 1 experience in Barcelona and it only made me want to have more and more encounters with people in different cities around the world!

Interests

Animals, collecting anything (papers, tickets, photos, postcards, objects on the street, leaves), food x1000, kindness, great conversations...

Basically whatever the world and the people in it share with me :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I literally love everything: from pop to progressive rock, from horror movies (I adore horror movies even though I regret watching them every night) cheesy rom-coms...
I'm a huge fan of tv series!!!
I used to read a lot of books (mostly hispanic literature) but this year I kind of limited myself to reading mostly anatomy books jajaja

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been taught Purépecha by natives in Mexico
Sailing in the Gulf of Mexico
Cleaning the trash in the woods of my city with my friends
Motorcycling in the mountains of my region
Climbing and rapelling
Camping in beaches, lakes, woods
Touring Europe twice with my mom
Biking through Amsterdam at midnight
Ice skating in New York
Skiing (my big love)
Working all summer with kids
Climbing the stairs all the way up to the Eiffel Tower (yes, I almost died)
Scuba diving in the Caribbean Sea
Making cheese in the north of France

The most recent and amazing thing I've done was to become a certified Open Water Diver!!! I'm so so so excited to be able to discover the underwater world that I've become a little obsessed with this diving thing :) jajaja

So many things, I feel so grateful for the experiences I've had and for the ones to come!
I think one of the best things I've done was moving away from my family and my home to France to study medicine, but at the same time, I'm only 19 years old so I'm sure I still have plenty of amazing things to do!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to learn anything in spanish, french, english, about my home country, my traditions, the country that I live in currently...
And not only those obvious things about me but also a whole lot more! I think meeting new friends is a balance between two people who are willing and happy to learn and to teach, so I'll share as much as you let me and I'll let you share with me anything that passions you, that intrigues you, that makes you smile.
(Just a little note: I'm not great at cooking so learning a few recipes always excites me very very very much)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Respect of your house and your life. Always be sure that there will be trust if you let me stay with you. No messes, no broken boundaries, no invasion. I'll respect the rules and indications that you give me. I'll always be free to help you with anything you want and need in your house. I hope you won't even feel the need to ask!
