I am from a small town south of Houston with a sense of adventure. I am a recent college graduate in vocal performance from Texas Tech University. I love to sing and I love music of all kinds. I aspire to be a professional opera singer. Right now I keep myself busy working as a private voice lesson teacher while I prepare to audition for graduate schools to continue my vocal studies. I am the oldest sibling of 6 and I am part of the first generation of Americans in my Mexican family. I am an imperfect human being who has been redeemed by Jesus Christ.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to travel more and see more of the world. I like trying new things and meeting new people. I would also like to couchsurf while I travel to do some graduate school auditions and possibly other vocal auditions in the future.

兴趣

I love music, running, biking, hiking, and reading. I am a coffee FAN. Baking is my favorite. Movie watching is one of my favorite past times.

I flew to Austria on my own for the first time when I was 20 years old for a 6-week opera training program in Graz. It was amazing!

I have only just started teaching and I love it. I am a fast learner and I hope to always learn things.
I grew up speaking Spanish at home with my Mexican family and still speak Spanish to my grandparents who don't speak any English. This being said, I think I can teach some useful and basic Spanish! :)
I love learning languages and I am working on Italian and German. I am open to learning all others also!
I can share my story, my passion for music and I would also love to help people understand more about the music world in terms of opera.
