ABOUT US

We are optimistic adventure seekers. Forrest is the adrenaline junkie and water enthusiast, Alissa is the creative one who sings and plays guitar. We are recent university graduates (studying business and art) and on our gap year before we head back to start the real world.

We are non-smokers and casual drinkers, and we like to clean so whoever we stay with is in luck. Both of us are suckers for animals and all kinds of foods, seriously, we'll try almost anything. We try and meditate once a day and are open minded to spirituality and other religions.

PHILOSOPHY

In our world, there are no such thing as strangers, only friends we haven't met yet. Lots of them.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We want to be real travelers, not tourists. We want to learn from the people we stay with, give back to them and make lasting memories with the new friends we make along the way. Once we get back to the U.S. we plan on becoming hosts ourselves to give back to the CS community and meet more travelers looking to explore the states.

Even though we are pretty new to CS we love the idea of it. Meeting new people is one of our favorite parts of traveling. To us, couch surfing is NOT about trying to be cheap and save money. It's about getting experiences you wouldn't normally have in your life and being influenced by those whom you let in.

We can share our love of cooking with you and teach you some delicious recipes we've collected along our journey. We can also show you how we meditate every day and maybe convince you to try it out too! We also have some great (and ridiculous) stories to share as well.

We are both very easy going and low maintenance people, we can get along with most everyone and are very open minded. We would love to help out around the house or contribute to our stay in any way we can- cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, practicing English, etc. Alissa can sing and play guitar/piano for entertainment haha and we are pretty good cooks!
