I just recently finished my PhD thesis in electrical engineering. After some time spent for example in the USA I am now taking the next step. I am an very open minded and respectful person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get into contact with new people, it's all about different and new ideas, views of the world and perspectives. On our own we are a little more limited. I am new to couchsurfing, but used to get in contact with new people just so or in hostels. Right now I am travelling on my own.

Interests

Until now the most important things for me are sports (mostly Pilates - although I am a man) reading (the german classics mostly right now) and playing music (for me it's the guitar). And of course the theoretical and mathmatical approach of electrical engineering are somehow part of me now. I like to plan, calculate, check ... and of course the positive results, when the idea finally works : )

Music, Movies, and Books

I like guitar music in every way. Pat Metheny, Michael Schenker, Tool, Pain of Salvation, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, ... There is nothing like a good live performance, no matter which style!

Movies - for me it's more about series, mostly GoT, True Detective.

The book for me actually is the critical complete edition of Nietzsches writing.
