Hola :) My name is Marta, a 29 yo girl from Barcelona who works as a freelance around the world. I am also a Tour Leader in a Travel Agency, so I visit a lot of countrys with people my age during the year.

As a passionate travel, I love meeting new people around the world. I’ve been using CS and other platforms for 6 years now and I had amazing experiences. Travelling means a lot to me... I did things I have never thought I would do and I have meet people who I can consider good friend now. I think it made me grow up in some different ways. I have travelled with friends and alone, I have done couchsurfing and workaway, I did hitch-hiking and van roadtrips... and every single experience gave me the opportunity to share my journeys with great people.

I have no doubt meeting new people from all over the world is the best thing of travelling and is because of that I love hostels and CS. When I have been travelling alone, CS has given the most beautiful experiences.
I am in CS because is the easiest way of meeting people when travelling. I like to travel alone but not visiting the places alone. CS is just the best way to meet up with other people just like you! Back home, this community let you keep meeting new people from all around the world even back home.

兴趣

I am so curious and respectful, so almost everything is interesting for me. People, in general. I think everywant of us represent a “whole new world”. Anyway, about me... lately I am really interested in ecofriendly lifestyle (working on it and improving everyday), but also motorbikes (not so eco...) and diving (I’ll be a divemaster soon)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Probably getting stuck in a deserted island in Bocas del Toro (Panama) during the pandemic. I was there volunteering and I could leave until months later. There were 15 more people with me and it was the most beautiful time of my life!

I can share everything I know and learn about all that things that I don't know yet! I can teach some spanish and I can explain you everything you need to know if you are travelling to Barcelona (and give you a place to stay there!).

I am not really good cooking, but I love to prepare dinners for everyone and eat all together! There is something that I really enjoy: playing cards! I have always with me an spanish cards and I can show you a lot of games to enjoy together!

And you have to know that I can speak too much (seriously, even with the plants) so if you like to sit and speak about live, I will be the happiest person in Earth!
