Happy to inform you all that I’m back...! Oh you didn’t miss me?! Well I’ve been living without this community for a year or two, but now that I have my own place again, I’d be happy to start hosting again :)

My name is Dorus, I’m a Dutch guy living in Amsterdam since the summer of 2019. Even though I’ve been living near Amsterdam for most of my life, I wouldn’t say that I know the city extremely well. So I’d love to explore it together and see this pretty city from the eyes of a visitor.

I would describe myself as calm and social, broadly interested and kind. Quite down-to-earth, maybe a bit too much sometimes..

So far I've had many awesome experiences, both as a host and as a guest! I really like the couchsurfing community and it's great to meet people in this way.

Intereses

let's start with travelling... (I'm still looking for the first couchsurfer who hates travelling) So yeah I love it, like all of you. And I love motorbiking. So I wish to combine those two in the near future and make some awesome trips.

Furthermore am I a civil engineer and specialised in water engineering, which is quite a Dutch specialty that I love to tell you something more about.
