I am a 30 year old male currently living in Toronto, Canada and bouncing around all over the place exploring the world (when I can afford to do so). I am a stone mason by trade and a rapper in a hip-hop group by night and I love both of these pursuits with all of my heart :) I love sports, when it comes to playing, soccer (football in Europe) is my favourite and when it comes to being a spectator I prefer hockey. I love to read and write and am fascinated by history and I spend a lot of my free time in these three ways either reading, writing or seeing the sights as much as I can. With that being said, I also enjoy a beer, a glass of wine or a shot of whiskey and am usually up for a night out when the time is right. My social circle back home is rather large but when abroad I normally travel alone and see where the wind takes me, I enjoy random experiences with unknown people just as much as I enjoy a day to myself on a beach with a book; in short, I am an eclectic person with an easy personality; I am funny, quick to take to and independent and I would be more than happy to return the favour to anyone who wishes to visit Toronto.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part of traveling (arguably) is meeting people and I usually stay in hostels with big common rooms for this reason. I figured couch surfing would be better for meeting actual locals in each location instead of other tourists. In short, it is not just for a place to stay, I would prefer someone who at the very least is willing to spend some time talking to me about the city, giving me some direction, etc. as opposed to a key and a couch with nary a word exchanged.
