Overview
About Me
I grew up moving around the world. I was born in New York USA, but I have lived in Abidjan in the Ivory Coast in Africa, Helsinki Finland, and Bangkok Thailand. My parents are both from Finland, which in a sense makes me Finnish, but I see myself more of a citizen of the world.
I've tried to experience as much as possible in my life to collect as many skills as possible, and I have succeeded in that surprisingly well.
I am a professional circus artist, though I have also studied theatre and dance. I'm also a musician, chef, writer and a healer. My main circus discipline is the cyr-wheel, though I do a little bit of everything. My music is mainly the ukulele, singing and percussions, but I play a little bit of everything. My cooking passion is Thai food, but I love all food in general as long as it's not processed. My writing is mostly poetry and blogs, but I will be writing a cook book/tuk tuk adventure this year. My healing started from Osteopathy, but learning from different healers around the world and incorporating circus into it, I have developed my own style.
I am good at building things, fixing things, and making people smile. I am all about helping each other, positive thinking, and optimisticity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I would rather immerse myself straight into the local community rather than staying at hostels or hotels. I love meeting new people with the same kind of sharing spirit.
Interests
My interests are too many to name. Basically I am interested in everything that will give me a chance to learn and grow, and that can be nearly anything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have no favorites in music, it really depends on the people and the mood. I also enjoy silence.
My absolute favorite movie of all time is Leon - The Professional. Luc Besson is my favorite director.
My favorite book is The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down: A Hmong Child, Her American Doctors, and the Collision of Two Cultures - by Anne Fadiman
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I drove a Thai tuk tuk (auto-rickshaw) from Bangkok Thailand to Helsinki Finland. The journey was an unforgettable 17,000 Km journey through Thailand, Myanmar, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, up the baltics and over to Helsinki with the ferry. The main aim was to bring to Finland the first tuk tuk, and make it into transportable street kitchen. The journey was to learn about the importance of the street kitchen to the communities, and through the food get to know the locals, their culture, religion and of course food.
We also filmed it into TV documentary series, that will hopefully come out this year.
