Overview
About Me
Actually, it's about us (though everything here is beautifully written by Ruta)... :-) We are easy-going and joyful couple. We love life, people and Earth. We don't take anything for granted so we appreciate and cherish even smallest events/things/gestures and we love sharing. Since I traveled a lot (but not enough), I know that there are millions of good and peaceful souls in the world, and connecting with them is one of our simple yet amazing life blessings. It's true, You can either live Your life with love or with fear, and we choose love every time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why? We are a couple who like to be travelers and meet travelers. Usually, we don't like planning ahead - we are spontaneous, we take risks and live our life to the fullest. Honestly, it's not even about the money, we actually believe that hotels are boring, also traveling strictly by plan (with guides or smth) is total nonsense - it's like jumping from a plane with a parachute before a plane takes off. :-)
Interests
If You are still reading this... :-) We are fascinated by the whole world, by it's strange and beautiful little pieces. We love nature and all living creatures. We respect and enjoy learning about every country, every religion, people's opinions and their mentality. Though we are not truly religious, we were raised as Christians, but since we were old enough to have our own opinions I have a crush on Buddhism and Eimantas has a crush on Paganism. I don't eat meat and I love yoga but still I love my wine just as much. :-)
Traditional cuisines! That's what I forgot to mention. We always involve our taste buds in learning about other cultures - that's important indeed. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
We admire classics but mostly anything goes. :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18, I found a bus going to UK direction, I sat on that bus until it stopped for a break in Netherlands, and right at that moment when I stepped outside I felt that I will love it here, and I stayed in Netherlands, even I was all alone, I didn't had any plans, any money, and I didn't knew anyone there. That was really amazing experience, mentally. I feel like I was born that day - my understanding how universe and life works was changed. It might sound far from something amazing but that was my Everest. :-)
