Hello! My name is Rachel. I’ve lived in Seattle, WA (USA) for the past 6 years, but this spring my boyfriend (Jay Myers) and I have decided to take some time to travel Europe through the Work Away program. During college I studied in London, and I’ve had “travel fever” ever since my return to the States. I’m so excited to see more of the world -- and I just can’t wait to meet you!

Staying in hotels is nice and all, but it’s a rather removed way to experience a city. I’m all about diving into culture by living like a local. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to accomplish this!

My #1 passion is storytelling -- whether it's onstage, page, or film. I enjoy hearing other people's stories as much as I enjoy telling my own!
On weeknights you can find me curled up with my journal or watching movies with homemade popcorn.
On weekends I love vintage shopping & discovering new restaurants with Jay.
I'd love to learn more about photography.
I studied ballet for most of my life, and I'm always ready to dance!
