With literacy rate of just over 50%, education is the most important need in my part of the world and I always wanted to make a difference.

While attending Young Leader Conference in 2004, We were tasked to come up with a unique social change idea and the story of "Edu-link" began with non-binding pledges from college/university students to sponsors a child's education when they become an earning hand. Thousands of pupils have signed up to this day and hundreds are keeping the promise in their own unique way directly to the family/school and with no involvement of a middleman or NGO.
