I'm Janine and I live in Heide in the North of Germany studying international tourism management (M.A.). I like Heide a lot, it’s a small but very nice town.

I would describe myself as easy-going and open-minded, kind, reliable, calm, ambitious, and harmonious. :)

At the beginning, I often appear shy and quiet. But I like listening to peoples’ stories and when I feel comfortable I become sociable, outgoing and even passionate.

I love to be spontaneous and to experience new things. I like to take challenges and learn from it. I like warm, harmonious and sincere conversations and to learn about peoples’ stories and experiences. I help out whenever possible.

When I meet with friends, I like to cook and eat, dance, costume parties, going out, going to the gym…

I have not yet travelled much and I lived almost my whole life in Germany, but I want to experience new places and people. When I finish my studies I want to move on to another place in the world until I find a place where I can feel home.

My mission: break out of my comfort zone, breaking out of my usual pattern of thinking and try new perspectives, get to know the world and try to make it a better place. ;)
Any time soon I want to finish my studies successfully and find a job where I can be passionate and where I don’t have to change myself.
Some day, I would like to find a place where I can feel home.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the most amazing experiences I had when I was living on Majorca for a few months. I had an amazing time and I learned a lot.

Additionally, I am very lucky to do my master studies in Heide, where I have fellow students from all over the world. We really spend an amazing time together. All the different cultures together create an amazing and warm atmosphere.
