Overview
About Me
I see traveling as the easiest way not only to discover the world around you, with its many different cultures, traditions, experiences and people, but also as the fastest way to discover new aspects of yourself.
Every experience, location and person you encounter is an opportunity to learn and gain a wider perspective of the world, seeing it through different eyes.
I've moved around a lot as a child, having had the privilege of being influenced by a variety of cultures whilst growing up. I would like to think that this was the seed of the person I am today, constantly wanting to experience new things and meet new people.
I'm a big fan of low-budget traveling, as I think it enhances the intensity of each experience, days filled with spontaneity, discovery and excitement!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its a great way to meet new people and get in touch with locals.
I've always appreciated receiving first hand information and advice.
For me, it's interesting, to see how someone having to face daily life in the area which you're visiting perceives the location in which they live in, versus the experience that you gain as a visitor. It's a way to keep the reality check going while still extracting the most out of your stay.
It's also a great way to socialize whilst being on a low budget and a hectic time frame, trying to fit as much of cultural events in the usually too-short visit.
