Hi there, everyone. I'm new to this site and this nomadic movement thing you all have going on. I am a 25 year old Wisconsinite. I love to laugh, make people laugh, sleep, drink whiskey and wine. Sitting at a table with a good meal and friends to share it with is my ideal night out. The Academy Awards are like my Superbowl and I prefer crunchy peanut butter to creamy. I am the youngest of six with five older sisters. Also, I have a bearded dragon named Pyra. She will not be coming with :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to change up the scenery every once and a while. This site affords me the opportunity to visit many places while saving money and meeting great people along the way.

Interests

Trying new food. Catching movies. Music in general. Bike rides. I try to spend as much time with friends and family as possible but I love a good solo adventure every now and then.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I follow various hip-hop artists as well. I love getting lost in the composed works of Hans Zimmer and I think playing a game of pool while listening to AC/DC's Thunderstruck is the best feeling in the world.

Movies are my life. I studied film back in college and was an aspiring screenwriter at one point but then reality smacked me in the face. Hard.

I don't read as much as I should but one book that has stuck with me is an autobiography entitled Scar Tissue. It is a first hand testimonial of the life of RHCP front man, Anthony Kiedis.

I made it to 25 with no kids or arrests. It's not much but I feel it's quite an amazing achievement :)
