A Spanish girl who loves to travel, learn about new cultures and music. I was born in Caceres, a small city in Spain, but I've grown up in Madrid. I recently moved to the UK for uni and it has been an amazing adventure ever since! I'm more of a mountain person than the sea type but I adapt quickly. Also- very shy at first but when I get used to someone oh boy, I apologize in advance. I get distracted (a lot) and when I talk about art my eyes shine because yes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like staying with someone that lives in the city where you're travelling gives you a whole other experience than the one you'll get if you just stay in a common hotel room somewhere. Couchsurfing allows you to meet someone real that will show you more about the culture and if you're lucky enough, you will also get to meet someone incredible and create new memories to share with others.

Interests

I love reading, watching films and fashion. I also enjoy doing outdoor activities and taking cute photographs. I'm not a sportsy type of girl even though I love biking and swimming (weird, I know). I'm into art (all kinds of art please not only painting thanks). And I sing. A lot. Also- I dance when I think that nobody's watching so if you see me doing weird movements, don't freak out, I just like being spontaneous.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I love pop, rock and country but I also enjoy rap and electronic. My favorites bands include Placebo, Mumford and sons, Mayday Parade, Sum 41, Of Monster and Men, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, The Story So Far, Real Friends, etc which is weird because my favorite singer is Taylor Swift. And I am also loving Kpop these days - specially Winner, Block B, f(x), AOA, gugudan & EXO.

BOOKS: I love to read so choosing my favorite books would feel wrong. I'll just say that my favorite genres are fantasy and classics. I ADORE To kill a Mockingbird, Anna Karenina, Cien años de Soledad, Jane Eyre and 1984. I also read tons of Young Adult fiction.

MOVIES: everything black and white and everything from the 50s/60s. My favoite director is Wes Anderson, so always down to have a chat about the symmetry in his movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Japan and being able to enjoy the amazing culture they have to offer first hand has been definetely a great experience.
