Antony: I am 28 and work in internal recruitment for a charity fundraising company. I'm originally from Manchester but spent a lot of my life growing up in Germany and Switzerland so I can also speak fluent German. I love to travel and first went for 6 months in 2010 to South America. Seen some amazing places there and also picked up some ok skills in being able to speak Spanish which I am now learning too. I love playing squash and watching Manchester United and just enjoy getting out and about when and where ever possible.

Corinna: I really enjoy horse-riding and even better if I can do it while I am travelling too. I'm originally from Essex and still live here now, just in a different town. I love going to different places all the time in and outside of the UK. A brilliant thing about going abroad is getting to try out all the new tastes from the local cuisine. Always looking for new activities to try out as a new experience is a great experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We spend quite a lot of time visiting different places across the UK and usually end up camping somewhere. Bit chilly in the winter though and even for the summer it would be good to meet some local people to either spend some time with or just be pointed in the right direction.

Right now, we live in shared accommodation but will soon have our own place to host people in Colchester.

Interests

We have this cool hobby called Geocaching which is essentially treasure hunting. Works quite well for us as we love to travel and this takes us all over the UK too.
Aside from this, we love going out with friends, every now and then we have a good solid drink and sometimes just chill to a few good films.
