About Me

I'm quite a simple man. I enjoy the really simple things of life, every moment can be seized if you know how to look at it. Just love laughing and seeing how easy things can be if we really want to. I'm the kind of person that will try to always look on the bright side of life. Not really into hearing someone complaining about everything. I'm more the kind of focusing on the solution instead of the problem whenever there is any.

I'm not the kind of club guy but I always love a drink in a place where good music is played (better live) and can sit around people to have a good chat and loads (I mean LOADS) of laughs. I'm not a real party boy but I prefer a party in a house or a pub with friends who you can talk than going to clubs or big discos.

Hate stress and rush. And bad faces... Do you know those people who seem to have a bit of something stinky stuck on their noses and walk around all day long as if they're smelling poo? Yeah right... not one of those.

Optimistic to the bone, not so many things can make me lose the spirit and when they do, it doesn't last long.

I love nature, natural things and natural people. Don't like lies or uncomfortable situations, so I love people who can either talk about deep stuff or just joke around the most stupid things. Really into humor. Love intelligent humor but... c'mon, you've looked for epic fail compilations on youtube too!!

Love children, that's why I work with them. They're clear, no prejudices, they ask when they're curious and they say whatever they think is right, with no hidden intentions or misunderstandings. They don't lose the smile for long. Ever. They have the most essential perspective in life. You can learn to live so much better when you watch children for a while...

As I said I love nature, in every way. Don't care if it's a sandy beach, a river, mountains, forest, just looking at the clouds or walking through a grass path. Out in the open is where I feel best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the world's too big to just meet the people you have right next to you. Too many different places, too many different people, too many different cultures, too many different experiences to just miss them. CS seems the cheapest and deepest way to have a new whole lot of experiences and once-in-a-lifetime moments in your hands.

Interests

People, music, nature, movies... did I say music?
I love tv series, and I'm a geek... but not the kind of computers, you know, superheroes and stuff. Have an Xbox for 3 years now but only have like... 5 games and I've finished 3 of them... i'd rather be doing something else with my girlfriend or on my own. You know exercise, rollerskating, hiking, going for a walk with my dog in the mountains, going to the beach or cliff jumping (in the summer) or just somewhere else out in the open. Me and my other half, or some people, or just with myself. And music. And a book. Yeah, that could do just fine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost every kind of good music, every one for each moment... I just love Grunge too much but I truly enjoy all kinds of rock, alt music, jazz... Not really into electro, clubbing, (poor)pop or latin music...

I just go crazy with movies... seriously, I can watch so many different things and so many times... you'd be scared.

Books... I usually read any kind of books and never finish one without knowing which is going to be next. Have some "fetish" books like The alchemist, The little prince or "La sombra del viento". And Chuck Palahniuk (the author of Fight Club) is one of my favourites, really twisted mind, highly recommended (Rant, and Lullaby are my favourites).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To be honest, the most amazing thing I think I've done is turning 29 and having visited just ONE different country from the one I'm from. And yes, that's sad. But I don't lose hope and here I am, never too late to make new decisions even more if they're good decisions.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is too short to be angry or sad. It is just not worth it. You can create your life, you can decide whether wasting a minute or seizing it to the last second. Living with no passion is not worth it. Find magic behind the moments, it always depends on the eyes of the beholder. Get out there, be a better you, make friends, bust your comfort zone frontiers and live a life which means something to you, not to anyone else.

I usually ask myself: what will I want to be remembered for tomorrow? The answer is: Then you have to do it today.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughs, points of view, amazing conversations, jokes, amazing food (it's her who really can cook!) and a city which is just great. It has some spots that not even all the locals know so be sure you'll enjoy around!!
