The first thing I can say is that I've never been good at filling these kinds of forms. The second thing that I can say is that I love having a good time! I'm always down to hang around with friends or people I have just met, always ready to have a good laugh!

I also love science, the more I know, the better! I'm especially interested in astronomy/astrophysics, which is also one of the reasons why I love being outside, far from the city lights. The night sky is amazing and I love to just stare at it, it reminds me of how small we are, but also how unique. Can you name me any other planet with intelligent life on it?

You've probably realized it after reading the last few sentences, but I'm a bit of a nerd. And that's about it, really.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess the primary reason that I made an account is that I'm planning a trip with my two best friends in Janurary of 2016, and we're all students, so hotels are off limits. Also, they're boring. We're planning on walking from Belgium, to Germany (we want to pass through Aachen since it's close to the intersection between the three countries) and the Netherlands. While as of time of writing (February 26th 2015) we have not planned our trip to the utmost detail, if I contact you, be sure that it means we have to pass through your town! I also joined couchsurfing for the interaction, meeting new people is always fun, and I'd guess that most of the people that offer their home like this have to be open and generous people.

Interests

I love skiing, reading, fencing, camping trips in the great outdoors, video games, astronomy and astrophysics, photography, having fun with friends and making lame puns. I have to warn you, my puns are pretty horrible, and generally I'm the only one laughing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big Pink Floyd fan, but my tastes are pretty much all over the place, ranging from Supertramp, through Slash, Kid Rock, AC/DC, and ending in a local folk singer, Lisa Leblanc

Again, my choice in books is all over the place. I loved Stephen King's "It" and "Duma Key", but I also loved "Jam", a comedy about an apocalypse of carniverous stawberry jam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I had to choose, I'd have to say that the most amazing thing I've done was going to Yellowstone with my scout group a few years ago. We organized our accounts, went to and organized fundraisers for the money and when I got there, I took a great deal of pictures!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share lame puns (obviously), but I cam also share jokes that aren't completely horrible! I can also share my knowledge of the world, my learning interest and if you're interested I can also trade a can of maple syrup, if it has not been traded yet.
