We are Lenka and Cliff, a couple of dreamers and eternal children, hence we've become teachers, I guess. We live in London and whenever we have a chance, we try to see as much of our magnificent world as possible.
I am from Slovakia and Cliff is South African and we've lived here for over 10 years.
We both love nature, hiking and animals, are enthusiastic travellers and love meeting people and exploring new places; the good thing about teaching is we get some holidays to do it, too.:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We'd love to explore different parts of the word and meet locals to chat to and get some great tips on what to see and do. We also enjoy sharing our stories and generally having a great time with like-minded people.

Interests

I love gardening and baking, visiting antique stores and trinket markets, interior design and getting lost in new places.
Cliff is very much into his music and running and we share a passion for cooking and discovering new coffee shops, where we can chat over a well brewed java and a decadent piece of cake.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I like classical, soul and blues and harmonies. I am a traditionalist and don't like discordance.;) So I would listen to Elvis, Nat King Cole, Ella, Sinatra, you know. Cliff likes old school soul, funk and rock'n roll and is a musician.
We both love books. Any. The more the better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the best thing we've done so far is hire a campervan and travel across the west of the USA. Absolutely stunning and a once in a lifetime experience, though that said, we'd love to go back!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to make a delicious cake and how to drink Slovak spirits. Other than that, we could go on a tour of a local park and you can point at plants and trees and I can tell you what they are.;)
Cliff can show you how to make a mean curry.
We want to learn about where you are from, what you enjoy and appreciate, the things you've learned, why you travel, what inspires you and brightens up your days ... everything you'd want to share about yourself.
