Overview
About Me
I'm calm, tall guy with a wide variety of interests and hobby's. Currently I'm studying engineering since I'm planning to save the world by designing something that will astonish the world with its durability and eco-friendliness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have the money to pay a hotel, basically. And of course I like to meet new people and stuff like that. It's quite hard, and socially awkward, to discuss political ideas or just chatting casually with the cleaning lady of a hotel.
Interests
I play in a soccer team and we play every weekend, not really on a high level. I'm also a big fan of watching sports, since it's less exhausting and equally funny.
I used to play the drums in cover band as well and I love to hear about new music groups or genres. I like watching series and reading as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite bands are Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire, Alt-J, CCR. Concerning movies: I like all of them, expect the bad, cliche and scary ones
And when we talk about literature: I like the oeuvre of Jonathan Safran Foer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived with an Amish-like community for two weeks.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm specialized in waste water treatment, more specifically in sludge management. So if you have interest in that area we can exchange life changing ideas about dimension a trickling filter or the subtlety of the anaerobic digestion process. Even now thinking about it makes me excited (not).
What I Can Share with Hosts
My exquisite taste and profound knowledge of series.
