I'm Tim, I strive to be very easy going and open to new experiences introduced to me. I am about to graduate from college with a B.S. in Biology and also Microbiology. I am most comfortable when I am outside enjoying nature and relaxing. I would really love to explore the many national parks in my own country but also abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan on road tripping around the United States at some point and would hope of doing so on a modest budget. I also respect the welcoming mind set that people who couch surf have.

Interests

I chose to take up a double major in the sciences because of my pursuit of knowledge. I am inspired by the discoveries that so many great minds have made and through educating myself I hope some day I can contribute something meaningful to the collective knowledge our world shares.

My favorite genre to read is dystopian future. Philip K. Dick has brought me on some wonderful adventures, as have Margaret Atwood and Octavia Butler.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to travel to Brazil where I studied various ecological systems. My focus was on the population densities of the parrot family which includes a beautiful array of parrots, parakeets, and macaws. Bird watching along the Amazon river absolutely changed my life for the better.
