Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I enjoy almost every music genre! From rock, indie, pop and soul to hiphop or electro, (deep) house, drum and bass, techno etc. I find it hard to define my favourite artists, but if I *had* to pick they'd probably be Marvin Gaye, U2, Coldplay, Two Door Cinema Club, Moby and Deadmau5 / M83.

MOVIES
While I enjoy 'lighter' movies such as Pixar films, Van Wilder college-style flicks, romcoms or shoot-em-ups, you can wake me up anytime for classics like Das Boot, Apocalypse Now, 2001: A Space Odyssey and many others.
My house has an amazing stereo in the living room along with a beamer (plus a PS3 with Netflix), so if you've got a nice suggestion we can watch it on the big screen :)

DESIGN & ART
Since I am a student Industrial Design, I am naturally very design and art-focused and I'd love to tell you more about it if you're interested. In and around the city of Eindhoven are many areas where design companies and start-ups are active and I can show you around if you like. If you are also into design or art-related things, I'd love to learn from you as well!

HISTORY & POLITICS (also philosophy)
I am also very interested in history, geopolitics and current affairs and I enjoy discussing these matters with other people (but don't worry, if you're not into that I promise I won't bore you with historical events ;)
While I was not taught philosophy, I do like thinking and discussing about the universe, our world or our place in it. Tell me about life the way you see it!

MUSIC
If you're into music, let's have a music quiz or a 'music exchange' where we play to each other our favourite songs! I am always looking for new, cool additions to my music library and maybe you'll discover your next favourite groovy tune.

DUTCH CULTURE (also student culture)
As a real Dutchie, I can of course tell you all about the Netherlands and the Dutch people! As an active participant of a local student association I can also tell you about the slightly strange yet wondrous world of Dutch student organizations and fraternities.
